He had said that it is very shameful to hurt the honor of our daughters in this way. The protesting wrestlers had alleged that the Delhi Police misbehaved and abused them at Jantar Mantar.

The TMC supremo also attacked the BJP regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Mamta Banerjee had said on Friday that the BJP is using the ED and the CBI to harass opposition leaders, but the investigative agencies will not help it get votes. Mamta had also urged all the opposition parties to unite and fight the BJP together in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
