PM Narendra Modi Australia Visit: The proposed Quad summit in Australia has been cancelled, but PM Modi will visit Sydney for a bilateral meeting with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese and other events including business meetings.
PM Anthony Albanese confirmed this on Wednesday (May 17). Talking to ABC Radio, he said, “PM Narendra Modi Will come here next week for a bilateral meeting with me.” He further said, “I look forward to welcoming PM Modi in Sydney.”
The organizers of the program include PM Modi’s friends.
According to the information, PM Modi will also meet one of his childhood friends in a program to be held in Sydney, Australia on May 23. A community reception has been held at the Kudos Bank Arena in Sydney’s Olympic Park on 23 May.
According to Indian time, it will be at 10 am. So far, more than 25 thousand people have registered to participate in this program. It has been told that the organization which is organizing this program includes PM Modi’s childhood friend Abbasbhai Ramsada.
PM Modi had mentioned friend Abbas in one of his blogs. PM Modi wrote a blog on the 100th birthday of his mother Hiraba. In this, he told that Abbas used to live in his house in his childhood.
‘Mother cooks favorite dish for Abbas on Eid’
PM Modi wrote in it, “Mother was always happy seeing others happy. The space in the house may be less, but his heart is very big. There was a village at a little distance from our house in which very close friends of my father used to live. His son was Abbas. After the untimely death of a friend, father had brought Abbas to our house.”
PN wrote, “In a way, Abbas studied at our home. Like all of us children, mother used to take care of Abbas very much. On Eid, mother used to cook dishes of his choice for Abbas. During festivals, some children in the neighborhood We used to eat food here only. He also liked the food made by my mother.
After this blog of PM Modi, ABP News came to know about Abbas. Abbas used to live in Kesippa village of Mehsana district of Gujarat, which is five kilometers away from PM Modi’s village. PM used to study in VN High School in Vadnagar with his friend Abbas in his childhood. Abbas now lives in Australia with his young son and wife.
The Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation will host the event
It has been informed on the iadf.org.au website that the Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation will organize and host a community reception in honor of PM Modi during his upcoming visit to Australia. The event is being organized in collaboration with Australia based partner organizations and local volunteers.
PM Modi’s program in the world’s fourth rank Arena
The Kudos Bank Arena, where preparations are underway for the community reception of PM Modi, is the number one and largest Indoor Entertainment and Sporting Arena (Stadium) in Australia.
