How will the 11 resolutions mentioned by PM Modi in the Lok Sabha help in the development of India? Go


PM Modi Sankalp: Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented 11 resolutions for a developed India during the discussion on the glorious journey of the Constitution in the Lok Sabha on Saturday (December 14). These include resolutions like performance of duty, zero tolerance towards corruption, freedom from slavery mentality, freedom from nepotism, women-led development and ‘One India, Best India’. PM Modi said that if we move forward with these resolutions, then the dream of developed India by 2047 will also be fulfilled.

Prime Minister Modi described completion of 75 years of the Constitution as an extraordinary achievement. Regarding India’s growing economic power, he said that the country is soon moving towards becoming the third largest economy. He said that today I want to put forward 11 resolutions from this House.

PM Modi’s 11 resolutions

1. Fulfillment of duty
Prime Minister Modi has emphasized the importance of duty in governance and citizens. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, 100 million household toilets were constructed across the country. The annual mortality rate of children reduced by more than 60,000. This mission not only improved sanitation but also made the citizens feel responsible. Declaring “Amrit Kaal” as “Kartavya Kaal”, the Prime Minister emphasized the contribution of every citizen in nation building. A campaign was started in the name of Mother Tree, under which more than 1 billion saplings were planted. The Prime Minister called for giving up LPG subsidy. After which 1.13 crore citizens voluntarily gave up the subsidy, which benefited the underprivileged. The Prime Minister converted the “Amrit Kaal” into “Kartavya Kaal” and inspired the citizens to contribute to the national development.

2. Inclusive development
Modi government has focused on the development of every section and region of the country. Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, 53.13 crore bank accounts were opened across the country, out of which 29.56 crore accounts belong to women. Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, 9.4 crore farmers are getting direct benefits of ₹3.45 lakh crore. After the launch of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 2.95 crore houses were constructed by 2024. Construction of toilets provided cleanliness and dignity to millions of women. Special schemes were implemented for transgender and tribal groups.

3. Zero tolerance towards corruption
Prime Minister Modi made eradication of corruption a priority of his government. Digital India and DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) delivered subsidies and benefits directly to beneficiaries. More than ₹3 lakh crore was saved by removing 100 million fake beneficiaries. The action of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was a major success. Before 2014, assets worth ₹5,000 crore were seized. After 2014, ED has so far seized assets worth more than ₹1 lakh crore.

4. Respect for the rule of law
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has made maintaining the rule of law, adhering to the Constitution and ensuring equal justice for all citizens among its major priorities. The Modi government passed the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019, which criminalized the practice of instant triple talaq. Modi government also brought three new criminal laws to ensure justice for all. These laws gave priority to justice over punishment in the new criminal law. Implementation of these laws is a concrete effort in the direction of justice.

5. Freedom from colonial (slavery) mentality
Prime Minister Modi stressed on freeing Indians from the shackles of colonial mentality. Changing the name of Rajpath to Dutta Path is a symbol of freedom from the colonial mentality. New Indian Navy flag was adopted by removing the St. George’s Cross. The naval flag was changed and given Indian identity. More than 2,000 colonial laws were abolished.

6. End of dynastic politics
The Prime Minister talked about the end of dynastic politics by emphasizing on merit and dedication in politics. Programs like National Youth Dialogue and Start-up India promoted youth leadership. The Prime Minister advocated a merit-based political system. Plan to involve 1 lakh youth in politics. “Developed India Youth Leader Dialogue” will be started in place of National Youth Festival in 2025. Along with this, programs like Khelo India and Start-up India by the government to empower grassroots level leaders have put merit in front of the country and reduced the influence of dynastic politics.

7. Respect for the Constitution
Prime Minister Narendra Modi The Government of India has continuously worked to strengthen the constitutional values ​​and spirit of federalism in the democratic structure of India. His policies and initiatives made the federal system more powerful. In 2015, he initiated the celebration of Constitution Day (26 November), later turning it into a nationwide event. As CM of Gujarat in 2010, he organized the ‘Samvidhan Gaurav Yatra’ with the aim of educating about the Constitution and instilling pride among the people of Gujarat. During his arrival at the meeting of newly elected MPs of the NDA government on June 7, 2024, PM Modi paid respect to the Constitution by touching his forehead. On completion of 75 years of the Constitution, the Prime Minister described it as the pillar of foundation of the nation. He took the initiative to make Constitution Day a day of national importance. Under the Panchtirtha scheme, five sites will be developed in honor of Dr. Ambedkar.

8. Security of reservation
Prime Minister Modi took several steps to preserve reservation. Economically weaker sections got reservation under EWS. 10% reservation was arranged for them. OBC reservation was implemented in NEET examinations and Kendriya Vidyalayas. Modi government gave 27% reservation for OBCs in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools and NEET examinations. Taking a major step towards gender equality, the Modi government passed the Women’s Reservation Bill (Nari Shakti Vandan Act), which provided 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.

9. Women-led development
Women empowerment is a major part of the development agenda of the Modi government.
Nari Shakti Vandan Act new parliament building The first bill introduced in 1957 ensured 33% reservation for women. 81% women became entrepreneurs through Standup India. 68% women were beneficiaries of Mudra Yojana. For the first time, women were given admission in Sainik Schools and NDA. Women were saved from injustice by bringing law on Triple Talaq. For the first time, the Republic Parade started with 100 women artistes playing Indian musical instruments and all women Tri-Service contingent marching on the duty path for the first time.

10. State-centric development
PM Modi strengthened the federal structure and emphasized on the development of the states. Under the Aspirational District Programme, the focus has been on the development of 112 districts. Under the Aspirational Block Program (ABP), the aim is to remove development disparities in 500 blocks. G20 meetings were decentralized and organized in 60 cities. Which gave more impetus to the development of the states. PM Modi’s leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic showed the power of teamwork between the central and state governments. PM Modi held meetings with Chief Ministers about 20-25 times. Be it the landslide in Wayanad or the tragic train accident in Odisha, PM Modi has always been there to help the affected states.

11. One India, Best India
PM Modi’s vision of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat aims to strengthen the unity of India as well as celebrate its diversity. Through several initiatives, the Modi government is working to bridge cultural gaps, restore ancestral ties and create a sense of belonging among all Indians. Working towards creating a sense of belonging, irrespective of their background or field. These include the principle of one nation, one constitution, due to which Article 370 was abrogated. Peace was restored in Jammu and Kashmir and emphasis was also laid on development.
Benefits for migrant workers were ensured through One Nation, One Ration Card. The tax system was simplified by implementing One Nation, One Tax (GST).
