He was arrested in the case of murder of a fan
Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa was arrested in the murder case of his fan Renukaswamy. On June 9, the body of 33-year-old auto driver Renukaswamy was found near a flyover in Bengaluru. The police had said about this case, ‘The deceased Renukaswamy was a big fan of Darshan. He had allegedly sent objectionable messages to actress Pavitra Gowda on social media. After this, a gang kidnapped and killed him at the behest of Darshan. It was being speculated that Pavitra was Darshan’s girlfriend. After this, the police arrested 15 people including Darshan and Pavitra Gowda.
7 jail officials were suspended
The Karnataka government had handed over the investigation in this case to the police. After this, 7 jail officials of Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara Central Jail have been suspended.
