Know who is Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, who was elected the new president of AIMPLB

Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani: Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani has been elected as the new chairman of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. The new president was elected during a two-day meeting in Indore. In fact, on 13 April 2023, AIMPLB President Maulana Rabe Hasan Nadvi died at the age of 94. He breathed his last at Nadwa Madrasa in Lucknow. After the death of Nadvi, the post of the chairman of the board was vacant, after which the name of Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani was unanimously approved on 3 June.

Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani was born on 5 November 1956 in Darbhanga, Bihar. He is the nephew of Maulana Mujahidul Islami Qasmi. Maulana Mujahidul Islami Qasmi has been the founder of the Islamic Fiqh Academy and the president of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Talking about the education of Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, he has studied from Jamia Rahmani Munger and Darul Uloom Deoband. Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, a resident of Hyderabad, is a writer and Islamic theologian by profession.

Worked in these important positions
Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani is an eminent jurist of India, author of several jurisprudence books and researcher of Sharia science. He is one of the founder members of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Maulana Khalid Saifullah was also the general secretary of the board before becoming the president. After the death of Maulana Wali Rahmani, in April 2021, Maulana Rabe Hasani Nadvi Sadar Board made him the acting general secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. After this, in November 2021 itself, Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani was made the permanent General Secretary of the Board at Jalsa-e-Aam in Kanpur.

Patron of many madrassas and organizations
Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani is the General Secretary of Islamic Fiqh Academy of India, Founder of Al-Mahid Al-Ali-Islami in Hyderabad Deccan. In addition he is the editor and council member of the quarterly Debate and Viewpoint of Darul Uloom Nadwa Ulama. He is the patron of many madrasas and organizations.
