MVA Meeting: After the victory of Congress in Karnataka, the stir has also intensified in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, on Sunday (May 14), a meeting of Maha Vikas Aghadi was called at Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar’s house. In this meeting, there has been a preliminary discussion regarding the distribution of seats in the Lok Sabha elections. In the meeting, it was decided to work unitedly regarding the Lok Sabha. The decision of the Supreme Court was also discussed in the meeting.
Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil from NCP, Uddhav Thackeray, Nasanjay Raut from Shiv Sena (UBT) and Nana Patole, Ashok Chavan and Balasaheb Thorat from Congress have been entrusted with the responsibility for further talks.
Will work on the formula of ‘strength in unity’
Now only 10 months are left for the Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation there is strength in unity, it has been decided to work on this formula. It was agreed in the meeting that all the three parties will fight the Lok Sabha and Vidhansabha elections unitedly, but the question is that after the victory of Congress in Karnataka, will the Congress accept less seats in Maharashtra.
Karnataka’s results increased enthusiasm – Patil
After the meeting, Jayant Patil said, we are all excited with the results of Karnataka and our confidence has increased. Now our workers will go among the public with more enthusiasm. He said that defeat happens but the way the BJP has suffered a big defeat, it has increased confidence. Jayant Patil said that we will convey the decision of the Supreme Court to the public.
Many big leaders including Uddhav Thackeray, Ajit Pawar, Nana Patole, Supriya Sule attended the meeting of constituents of Aghadi held at Sharad Pawar’s residence.
