‘Priyank Kharge will become the Chief Minister of Karnataka in 2028’, said Congress MLC Tippan in Kalaburagi

Karnataka Home, e-Governance and Kalaburagi-Yadgir district in-charge Minister Priyank Kharge was given a grand welcome on his first visit to Kalaburagi city. Speaking at the felicitation ceremony organized by the District Congress Committee, MLC Tippanna Kamakanur said that this tremendous felicitation ceremony is proof that Priyank Kharge is one of the most important and prominent ministers of the state government.

Kamakanur said, “Priyank Kharge is a popular Home Minister. He will win again in the 2028 elections. If today he is the Home Minister, then in 2028 he will become the Chief Minister.” He also said that if anyone has the political will to include communities like Koli and Kabbalinga in the category of Scheduled Tribe, then it is only Priyank Kharge.

Kamakanoor informed that the work of installing the statue of Nijasharan Ambigada Chowdhary is going on in Gulbarga, for which the Minister has released a grant of Rs 17 lakh. He said, “We will gather one lakh people for the unveiling of the statue. We also appeal to the minister to install the statue of Ambigada Chowdhary in front of Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru.”

‘All the qualifications to become CM in Kharge’
MLA M.Y. Patil and Allamaprabhu Patil said that Priyank Kharge has been assigned departments as per his capabilities. He said, “This is the first time that the e-governance department has been given to a minister other than the Chief Minister. IT-BT industry leaders themselves had demanded that the IT-BT department be given to Priyank Kharge, which shows his ability.” He further said, “We had appealed that Priyank Kharge should be made the Deputy CM but he has all the qualifications to become the Chief Minister.”

Apart from all this, the leaders had also appealed to Kharge to talk to the Chief Minister and make arrangements to provide relief from drought, because the Chief Minister is going to visit the district on Tuesday. He said that there is a drought like situation in the district and the demand for drinking water has increased. In such a situation, Kharge should ensure that relief is provided. Earlier, thousands of party workers, supporters and leaders gave a warm welcome to Minister Kharge near Nageshwar School in Ganj area.
