According to Satyanarayan, Joint Commissioner Law and Order of Mumbai Police, Mumbai Police has arrested a 28-year-old man named Suresh Lohar from Rajasthan in connection with the theft of jewelry worth about 74 lakhs. All the ornaments worth Rs 74 lakh have also been recovered from the accused, which were stolen. According to the police, the accused Suresh Lohar used to work in the same jewelery shop and he made the owner of the shop unconscious through a handkerchief by putting drugs in the drink. After this, the accused carried out this entire incident.

According to the Mumbai Police, after stealing gold and silver ornaments, the accused hid these ornaments at a friend’s place. After this he himself fled to Rajasthan. Police formed a team of 10 to 12 people to investigate this matter and after hard work arrested this accused from Rajasthan.

According to the Mumbai Police, many accomplices of the arrested accused work in other jewelery shops in Mumbai, to which it is related. After the police arrest, he has also accepted the case of theft in a jewelery shop in Wadala area. Whether the accused Suresh Lohar and his accomplices have executed other such incidents, the police is probing the matter from this angle as well.
