IMD has issued an alert of heavy rain and thunderstorm in UP, Bihar, Delhi, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Bengal, Rajasthan and Kerala. During this period, there is a possibility of storm blowing at a speed of 80 to 85 km per hour.

There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in Delhi today Friday. There may be heavy rain with thunder in many areas. Rain was seen in the capital last Thursday morning also. The Meteorological Department has advised people to beware of waterlogging and traffic jams. There is a possibility of drop in temperature due to rain.

Monsoon has gained momentum in UP since Thursday. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Banda, Chitrakoot, Sonbhadra, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur on Friday. Apart from this, yellow alert has been issued in 44 districts including Prayagraj, Varanasi, Kanpur regarding thunder and lightning.

Meteorological Center Lucknow Senior scientist Atul Singh said that on July 3-4, monsoon rains will be concentrated in Bundelkhand and Vindhya region. Good rains will start again in the state from July 5. Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Bhadohi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, state. Rain record in Mirzapur
Let us tell you that on Thursday, maximum rainfall of 120 mm was recorded in Chunar of Mirzapur and 114.6 mm in Azamgarh. Apart from this, there was 104 mm rainfall in Sambhal of Western UP, 62 mm rainfall in Bijnor and 54.6 mm rainfall in Varanasi. Heavy rain was also seen in many other districts including Lakhimpur Kheri and Sultanpur.

Badra rains like a disaster in Mumbai
In the country’s financial capital Mumbai, 150 mm to 200 mm rainfall has occurred in many areas of the city from Wednesday evening to Thursday morning. Maharashtra Minister Uday Samant said on Thursday that the state government is closely monitoring the situation. He said that from yesterday evening till this morning, 175 and 200 mm of rain has been recorded at many places. Season The department has issued red alert for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar.

Condition of Rajasthan and Haryana Punjab
Apart from eastern parts of Rajasthan, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in Punjab and Haryana also. Strong winds may also blow in some areas.
