‘This time a new history will be created’, Nepal PM said before India visit

“This time I am visiting India with the belief that a new history will be created,” Prachanda told a leading Nepali newspaper ‘Kantipur Daily’. I am sure, something new will be achieved by visiting Nepal. I believe that Nepal-India relations will be taken to a new height. For both Nepal and India, the visit will provide an opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations and explore new areas of economic cooperation.

The newspaper quoted sources in the Ministry of External Affairs as saying that the prime minister is likely to go on a four-day official visit to India on May 31. However, no official announcement has been made yet about the date and itinerary of the proposed visit.
