Threat to bomb top offices of the country including ISRO, Delhi Police interrogated the suspect

Delhi Police has taken action in the fake bomb threat case. A suspect has been interrogated in this case. On June 29, a case of threat to bomb the offices of top institutions of the country came to light, after which the police became fully alert.

In the threatening email, NIA, ISRO, NPCIL, DRDO, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Delhi New York Air India flight were warned to bomb. After this, all the places were checked meticulously, where no explosives were found.

A suspect living in Ghaziabad was interrogated

During investigation, all the threats were found to be fake. Police traced the suspect on the basis of technical investigation Ghaziabad Reached Sanyog Nagar. Police interrogated 36 year old Nishant Tyagi, resident of Sanyog Nagar, Bank Colony.

What came to light in the preliminary investigation?

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect has been suffering from the disease since 2008 and has been treated in many reputed hospitals. No explosive or suspicious material was recovered during the inquiry and search. Police are now investigating the purpose of sending the email and the entire incident. Further legal action will be taken based on the investigation.

ISRO was also threatened to be bombed

ISRO was most important in this whole matter. Its headquarters had received an email. There was a bomb threat in it. As soon as the email was received, the officials immediately implemented the emergency protocol. The entire complex was evacuated. Also, security around was tightened. Bomb disposal squad and other security agencies reached the spot for investigation. The teams had searched the entire ISRO campus.
