Opposition meeting: Opposition parties engaged in uniting against the BJP for the Lok Sabha elections held a meeting on Friday (June 23) in Patna regarding the strategy ahead. Many leaders including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former President Rahul Gandhi participated in it.
The Delhi ordinance was also discussed in the meeting. According to sources received by ABP News, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar and former CM Uddhav Thackeray have appealed to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding the ordinance.
Sources said that NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray have asked Rahul Gandhi that the Congress should support Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Rajya Sabha against the Centre’s transfer-posting ordinance.
Sources said almost all opposition leaders have asked the Congress to support Kejriwal against the Centre’s ordinance. After this Congress can support AAP in Rajya Sabha against the ordinance.

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, had recently written a letter to the opposition parties asking them to clarify their stand regarding the Centre’s ordinance.
