‘Violence increased after Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Manipur’, claims BJP minister Susindro Meitei

Manipur Violence: Violence in Manipur is not taking the name of stopping. Meanwhile, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi reached Manipur on Thursday (June 29) to meet the violence-hit areas and victims. After his visit, BJP minister L Susindro Meitei (Leishangthem Susindro Meitei) has attacked Rahul Gandhi. Minister Susindro Meitei even said on Rahul that violence has increased in the state after his visit to Manipur.

Minister L Susindro Meitei said, the violence that took place in the state in the past was sponsored by other opposition parties including the Congress. Not only this, on the resignation of Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, L. Susindro Meitei says that being hurt by the violence perpetrated by Rahul Gandhi, the Chief Minister had decided to resign after discussing with all the cabinet members and MLAs. The CM had also prepared the letter of resignation. The people of Manipur believe that the government is continuously working to improve the situation.

‘Rahul Gandhi is making false allegations’
Susindro Meitei further said, ‘N Biren Singh was going to resign from the post of Chief Minister after meeting the Governor, but thousands of women asked the CM not to leave the house, saying that the people of Manipur do not want the Chief Minister to resign.’ Rejecting Rahul Gandhi’s claim regarding the relief camp, Susindro said that there is no problem of medicines and food in the relief camp. Rahul Gandhi is making false allegations.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Imphal on Thursday (June 29) on a two-day visit to Manipur. During this, he visited many violence-hit areas and visited the relief camps and met the victims. Along with this, Rahul had also requested the government to improve the basic facilities in the relief camps. BJP minister L Susindro Meitei was seen as an attacker after Rahul Gandhi’s two-day visit.
