Whatever the opposition may say, but the issue of UCC was present in the manifestos of 2014 and 2019 and the people of the country have already stamped it by giving two-thirds majority.

Will UCC present in the monsoon session?
According to sources, the Modi government may present a proposal for the Uniform Civil Code in the monsoon session. According to information, new parliament building The monsoon session is likely to start from July 17 and is likely to continue till August 10. The meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) may be held in the beginning of July. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will chair the CCPA meeting.

Draft ready in Uttarakhand
On the other hand, the committee on Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand has prepared the draft. The committee said, we have prepared the draft. Will hand it over to the government very soon. We have studied the rules and regulations of the country.
While preparing this draft, the expert committee discussed this issue during contact campaign with residents of border village Mana and migrants from Uttarakhand living in Delhi.

The committee further said, 2 lakh 31 thousand people gave us written suggestions on this matter and 20,000 people were personally present and gave their advice. We also got support during this period and some protests were also registered. By the way, attention has been paid to all the facts which will strengthen the national unity of the country.
