BRO Recruitment 2024 Registration Underway: Border Roads Organisation has announced recruitment for various posts. It comes under the Ministry of Defence. Applications for these vacancies have started from 10th August and the last date to apply is not clear yet. Through this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be appointed on a total of 466 posts. The details of these posts are as follows.
Draughtsman – 16 posts
Supervisor – 2 posts
Turner – 10 posts
Mechanist – 1 post
Driver Mechanist Transport – 417 Posts
Driver Road Roller – 2 Posts
Operator Excavating Machinery – 18 posts
Total – 466 posts.
Who can apply
The educational qualification to apply for these posts varies according to the post. Generally, candidates who have passed 10th or 12th from a recognized institute can apply. For example, for the post of draftsman, 10th pass candidates who have a diploma in the relevant field are eligible to apply and the age limit is 18 to 27 years. Similarly, for the post of supervisor, 10th pass candidates who have a diploma in engineering from a recognized institute can also apply. The age limit is again 18 to 27 years.
Similarly, the educational qualification for the remaining posts is different and candidates having diploma or ITI certificate in the relevant field can apply. Only 10th pass candidates having heavy motor vehicle driving license can fill the form for Driver Mechanic Transport and Driver Road Roller posts. The age limit for these posts has also been fixed from 18 to 27 years.
How will the selection be done
Selection for these posts will be done after passing several rounds of examination. Firstly, a written examination will be conducted followed by a PST/PET test. Trade test or skill test can also be taken depending on the post. Finally, document verification and medical examination will be conducted. Only the candidate who passes one stage will go to the next stage and the selection will be finalized only after passing all the stages.
