Apply for SSC MTS posts till this date, vacancy has also increased

According to the earlier notice, there were to be 4887 MTS posts. This has now been increased to 6144. However, there is no change in the number of Havildar posts. These posts are still 3439.

Thus, now the total number of posts of SSC MTS and Havildar has become 9583 which was earlier 8326. Candidates can now apply for these many posts. For this, go to SSC’s website ssc.gov.in.

Earlier the last date to apply was 31st July which has now been extended to 3rd August. Now you can fill the form till next Saturday.

Selection will be based on written exam, physical fitness test, DV round and medical round. Fitness test will be only for Havildar posts.

The fee to apply is Rs 100. This is for candidates of General and OBC category. Other reserved categories do not have to pay any fee.

The exam date has not been announced yet. Candidates between 18 and 27 years of age who have passed 10th can apply. Visit the website for other details and updates.
