Export-Import Bank of India i.e. EXIM Bank has launched a scheme for the youth. year 2026 The first major recruitment has been announced. The bank has released the official notification for recruitment to the posts of Management Trainee (Banking Operations). This notification has been issued on 17 January 2026 and the application process has also started from this day. A total of 40 posts will be filled through this recruitment. This is being considered a golden opportunity for the youth who are dreaming of making a career in the banking sector.

Who can apply?

Only those candidates who have done regular graduation from a recognized university or institute can apply for EXIM Bank Management Trainee Recruitment 2026. Graduation should be of three years and in this the candidate must have at least 60 percent marks or its equivalent CGPA. This condition is applicable for General, OBC and EWS category candidates. Reserved category candidates can get relaxation in marks as per rules, information about which is given in the official notification.

Apart from this, candidates who have done MBA, PGDBA, PGDBM or MMS in subjects like Finance, International Business or Foreign Trade and their marks are 60 percent or more will also be considered eligible for this recruitment. Chartered Accountant i.e. CA candidates, who are members of ICAI, can also apply for the post of Management Trainee.

Final year students also get a chance

The special thing about this recruitment is that students studying in the final year have also been given the opportunity to apply. Candidates who are going to appear for their final examination in January 2026 can also apply online. However, it will be mandatory for such candidates to complete their degree and submit the passing certificate by June 1, 2026. If the certificate is not submitted within the stipulated time, the candidature of the candidate may be cancelled.

It has also been made clear that studies done through distance education, correspondence or open learning will not be valid for this recruitment. Only those candidates can apply who have done regular and full time course.

How much application fee will have to be paid?

The application fee for EXIM Bank Management Trainee Recruitment has been decided according to the category. General and OBC category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. At the same time, the application fee for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Disabled, EWS and women candidates has been kept at only Rs 100. Fees will have to be paid through online mode during the application process. Without fee payment the application will be considered incomplete.

What will the selection process be like?

Candidates will be selected in this recruitment in two phases. In the first phase there will be a written examination and in the second phase an interview will be conducted. The written examination will be subjective in nature. No cut-off for different sections has been fixed in this examination, which will provide some relief to the candidates.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of written examination and interview marks. The written examination will be given 70 percent weightage in the total selection, while the weightage of the interview will be 30 percent. That means it will be necessary to perform well in both the phases.

Where will the exams and interviews take place?

The written examination will be conducted in major cities of the country. This includes Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Guwahati. Candidates will be able to choose the examination center of their choice while applying. Whereas, interviews will be conducted in Mumbai and or New Delhi. Information about the date and time of the interview will be given to the candidates later through email or website.
