Great opportunity for those preparing for government jobs, teacher recruitment is going to start in this state.

After a long wait, rumors and protests, now Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is soon going to release the notification of teacher recruitment examination TRE 4.0. According to the latest information, this notification may be issued by 19 April 2026. This news has given hope to those candidates who were waiting for clear information for months and were confused despite preparation.

This time’s recruitment is being considered as one of the biggest teacher recruitment in Bihar. The special thing is that the number of posts has been increased significantly compared to earlier. Preparations are on to appoint a total of 46,882 teachers in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools. Earlier it was estimated that this number would be around 26 to 27 thousand, but after the new data received from the districts, the number of posts has been increased significantly. This clearly indicates that the government is serious about filling the posts lying vacant in schools for a long time.

There was a lot of resentment among the candidates due to the delay in notification. After the initial announcement in September 2025, it was expected that the recruitment process would start soon, but there was no clear update for months. It took time to decide the number of posts district wise and finalize the figures at the administrative level. Due to this, there was confusion regarding the date of examination and the exact number of posts.

demonstrations were held

The effect of this delay was visible on the roads also. Candidates protested in many cities including Patna and raised the demand for transparency. Confusion increased among the candidates due to different data coming out. Earlier, the allegations of paper leak in TRE 3.0 had also increased the concern of the students, hence the candidates were more alert and serious about TRE 4.0.
