Who can apply for the recruitment for JTO posts in BSNL?

Candidates applying for BSNL JTO Recruitment 2026 must have BE, B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institute. Under this, candidates from branches like Telecom, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology (IT) and Instrumentation can apply. Apart from this, candidates doing MSc in Electronics or Computer Science are also eligible. Along with this, candidates having M.Tech degree in related subject can also apply for this recruitment.

What is the age limit?

The minimum age of the candidate for recruitment has been fixed at 20 years and maximum age at 30 years. However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules. In which OBC (NCL) candidates get 3 years relaxation, SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, 10 to 15 years additional relaxation is given to disabled candidates and separate age limit has been fixed for BSNL employees.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates will be selected in BSNL JTO Recruitment through Computer Based Examination (CBT). Candidates’ technical knowledge, general aptitude and understanding of related subjects will be examined in the examination. Candidates who pass CBT will be called for further process.
