UPSC has released recruitment for Group A-Group B, posting will be available in the ministry; Fill the form by 29th May

UPSC Recruitment 2026: A big good news has emerged for lakhs of youth who dream of government jobs. Recruitment will be done on various prestigious posts under advertisement number 04/2026 issued by UPSC. A total of 45 posts will be recruited in this recruitment drive. Which includes posts like Assistant Library and Information Officer (Kannada Language), Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the College of Military Engineering Pune, Translator (Chinese and Tibetan) in the Ministry of Defence, Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II in DRDO, Assistant Mining Engineer and Assistant Research Officer in the Indian Bureau of Mines, and Accounts Officer in Ladakh Administration. All these posts will be filled in different ministries and departments of the Central Government. Also, maximum 29 posts have been earmarked for Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II in DRDO, while for the remaining posts there is only one vacant post each. The online application process for this recruitment has started from 9 May 2026. In which candidates can apply through the official website of UPSC. Also, the last date to apply has been fixed as May 29, 2026 till 6 pm. The Commission has clearly said that the qualification and eligibility of the candidates will also be determined on the basis of this date. In such a situation, interested candidates have been advised to complete the application in time without waiting for the last date. Also, applications will be accepted only through online medium.

Selection process and big opportunity for youth

UPSC In this recruitment, candidates will be selected on the basis of shortlisting, recruitment examination and interview. Also, the maximum age of the candidates has been kept from 30 to 45 years according to the post. Age will be calculated on the last date of application. Whereas reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules. Besides, experience and educational qualification will also be given importance for some posts. Apart from this, the selected candidates will be given salary under pay scale level 7 to 10 and academic level 10 to 13A1.
