BTMC Secretary Dr. Mahasweta Maharathi inspected the preparations along with the monks and engineers. According to tradition, the celebration of Buddha Purnima was started by offering the first invitation card to Lord Buddha in the sanctum sanctorum of Mahabodhi Temple.
During this, the monks chanted mantras as per the rituals, which made the entire atmosphere more sacred.
VIP attendance and security arrangements
About 10 thousand devotees are expected to participate in this grand event. Chief Minister of Bihar in the program Samrat ChaudharyUnion Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and Speaker of the Assembly Prem Kumar Many dignitaries will be involved.
Apart from this, Consul General of Thailand in India Siriporn Thanyathep will also specially participate in this event.
