Hariyali Teej 2024: When is Hariyali Teej? There is some confusion among people about the correct date that whether Hariyali Teej will be celebrated on 6th or 7th. Because this time Shravan Shukla Tritiya Tithi will start on 6th August at 7:52 pm and will last till 10:05 pm on 7th August.

In such a situation, today on 6th August, Tritiya Tithi has started from the evening. Therefore, Teej fast will not be observed on that day. The Udayatithi of Shravan (Sawan 2024) Shukla Tritiya Tithi is not on 6th August but on 7th August.

Udayatithi is calculated from sunrise, sunrise in Shravan Shukla Tritiya Tithi is happening on 7th August at 05:46 AM, hence Hariyali Teej fast will be observed on 7th August. Also, on this day, there is a combination of Parigha Yoga, Shiva Yoga and Ravi Yoga.

On this day, married women observe Hariyali Teej fast for the long life and happy life of their husbands. If unmarried girls observe this fast, all obstacles in their marriage are removed and they get their desired groom.
