What is the significance of Bahuda Yatra?

After completion of nine days stay in Gundicha temple, Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra again return to Srimandir. This return journey is called Bahuda Yatra or Ulta Rath Yatra.

During this time lakhs of devotees gather to have darshan of God. It is believed that devotees get special spiritual benefits by visiting both Rath Yatra and Bahuda Yatra.

Religious importance of Adap Darshan:

The darshan of the Lord in the Gundicha temple during the Rath Yatra is called Adap Darshan.
