Kanha loves these colors, wear clothes of this color on Janmashtami, Krishna will be happy

Shri Krishna’s complexion and appearance were very captivating. The gopis used to make many efforts to get a glimpse of the dark-skinned Krishna. Shri Krishna was very fond of certain colours. It is said that wearing clothes of those colours on Krishna Janmashtami bestows the blessings of Bal Gopal.

Shri Krishna loves pink, red, yellow and peacock colour very much. It is auspicious to wear clothes of these colours on Janmashtami on 26th August. It is believed that mother Yashoda also used to dress Kanha mostly in these colours.

Bal Gopal is very fond of Gopi Chandan. Use it in the puja on Janmashtami and also apply tilak of Gopika Chandan on yourself. This relieves mental stress.

It is considered good to apply perfume of night queen flowers on the day of Janmashtami. It is said that Shri Krishna’s body also had a heady smell. According to the scriptures, Kanha’s body had the fragrance of Ashtagandha. He gets pleased easily with this fragrance.

On the occasion of Janmashtami, Kanha Ji loves the flute. According to Vastu Shastra, keeping a flute in the house brings happiness and prosperity.
