Kanwar Yatra 2026: Muzaffarnagar Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) has come on full alert mode to provide pure, safe and at fair prices food to lakhs of Shiva devotees during the upcoming Kanwar Yatra. The department has divided the entire Kanwar route into 6 major routes and deployed one food safety officer on each route.

• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Take special care of the cleanliness of utensils and kitchen area, do not throw garbage in the open.
• Ban on stale food: Store food at proper temperature so that it does not spoil. Prepare fresh food only as needed.
• Ban on restricted colours: Use of non-standard or harmful artificial colors in food items is completely prohibited.
• Price Transparency: Money should be taken from the devotees as per the rate list, strict action will be taken if overrating is found.
