today’s solution
Shraddha is performed for those ancestors about whom information is known, but on Sarva Pitru Amavasya, Shraddha should be performed in the names of all those ancestors of the family about whom information is not known. For this, feed a cow, dog, crow today and keep some part of the food in a secluded place or near a river and pond. It is believed that the unknown ancestors of those for whom Shraddha is not performed eat that food and provide blessings.
