Ganga Dussehra

Shani Jayanti

Shani Dev is considered to be the giver of Karmaphal, who provides results according to the good and bad deeds of a person. Worshiping on Shani Jayanti reduces the effects of Shani Dosh, Sadhesati and Dhaiya. It is believed that if worshiped with devotion on this day, Shani Dev pacifies the defects and provides auspicious results.

Vat Savitri Vrat

This fast is related to the sacred story of Savitri and Satyavan, in which Savitri, with her penance, love and intelligence, got her husband’s life back from Yamraj. This fast is considered a symbol of unwavering love, dedication and trust between husband and wife. It is believed that worshiping on this day removes obstacles in marital life.
