The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open tomorrow at 8 am, enthusiasm among the devotees is at its peak.

Kedarnath Yatra 2026: The doors of Lord Shri Kedarnath Dham, a symbol of faith and devotion, will be opened for the devotees to visit at the auspicious time tomorrow on 22 April 2026 at 08:00 am with Vedic chanting and rituals. With this, the world famous Shri Kedarnath Yatra 2026 will be formally inaugurated.

On this auspicious occasion of opening of doors, State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also reach the Dham and participate in religious rituals and worship as per tradition. Special enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees regarding the opening of the doors. A large number of devotees from India and abroad are reaching the Dham and are eager to have Baba’s darshan.

What are the travel arrangements?

Extensive arrangements have been made by the district administration Rudraprayag to ensure smooth, safe and well-organized journey of the devotees. These mainly include repair of roads and smooth traffic system, toilets, accommodation, food and drinking water facilities on footpaths, proper arrangement of electricity and solar lights and Medical Aid Center (MRP) has been established by the Health Department every two kilometres.

Apart from this, paying special attention to cleanliness in the walking path and Dham area, arrangements of modern toilets and hot water facilities have also been made available. The police and administration are fully prepared for security. Extensive security arrangements have been made in the Yatra route and Dham area, so that the devotees can have a safe and comfortable travel experience.

Panchmukhi Utsav Doli reached Kedarnath

It is noteworthy that today, a day before the opening of the doors, the Panchmukhi Utsav of Baba Kedarnath is reaching Doli Dham, due to which the atmosphere of devotion and faith is at its peak in the entire area.
