• Importance – Bhaumvati Amavasya is considered more effective for courage, debt relief, land related works and relief from enemy obstacles.
• Presiding planet – Mars (Earth) – Those who are having inauspicious effects in their horoscope should fast on Bhaumvati Amavasya and offer vermilion and jasmine oil to Hanuman ji. Reciting Hanuman Chalisa or Sunderkand calms the Mangal Dosh in the horoscope.
