Why do Muslim men keep their beards red in color?

In Islam religion, keeping a beard is a Sunnah act. Keeping a long beard is considered a symbol of celibacy for them.

There are different opinions in Islam about keeping beard. Whether keeping beard makes you look different from the non-believers or keeping beard is following the orders of Prophet Mohammed.

Most Muslims dye their beards red or orange. It is said that the natural dyeing method was also used by Prophet Mohammed. However, there is no such religious belief in Islam.

The choice of dyeing the beard can be everyone’s personal decision. There are no rules related to this in Islam. People dye their hair and beard for beauty.

Islam encourages keeping beard, but there are no specific instructions regarding its length and colour.

In movies, TV serials, Muslim characters are shown with red beards, which creates a common misconception that all Muslims look like this, whereas this is completely wrong.
