At that time Bhishma Pitamah was 170 years old when he gave up his body on his deathbed. The reason for Bhishma Pitamah’s long life was strict celibacy, which he always followed.
According to experts, the Mahabharata war took place around 3067 BC, at that time Shri Krishna was around 56 years old. Some scholars believe that at the time of the Mahabharata war, his age was 83 years.
Shri Krishna left his body at the age of 119. At the time of the Mahabharata war, Arjuna was 55 years old, Krishna was 83 years old and Bhishma was about 150 years old.
