Because of this the rally was canceled
Brijbhushan had posted a post on Facebook after the cancellation of the Sant Sammelan in Ayodhya. The MP had said in his post that he was postponing the ‘Jan Chetna Maharally’ scheduled for June 5 for a few days, as the police were probing the allegations leveled against him by the wrestlers. He said, “My dear well wishers! With your support, I have been serving as a Lok Sabha MP for the last 28 years. I have tried to unite people of all castes, communities and religions, both in the ruling party and in the opposition.

The BJP MP further said, “It is for these reasons that my political opponents and their parties have leveled false allegations against me. In the present situation, some political parties are trying to disrupt social harmony by promoting provincialism, regionalism and caste strife by holding rallies at various places.” Since the police is probing the allegations (made by the wrestlers) and respecting the serious directions of the Supreme Court, the ‘Jan Chetna Maharally’ and ‘Ayodhya Chalo’ programs proposed on June 5 have been postponed by a few days Has been done.”
