Lucknow News:Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar on Friday (August 16) announced the dates for assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana. Assembly elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir in three phases from September 8 to October 1, while in Haryana, assembly elections will be held in a single phase on October 1. The election results of these states will be declared on October 4. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand has claimed the defeat of BJP by referring to One Nation One Election.
SP spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand wrote on social media account X-"Just yesterday BJP was talking about One Nation One Election but today the dates for elections of two states and not four were announced!! BJP is sure to lose, whether it loses in installments or all at once, it is sure to lose!!" However, SP has no presence in the two states where elections are to be held, nor does the party have an alliance with anyone in these two states.

Haryana is currently ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the term of this government is ending on November 3. The last assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir were held in five phases in November-December 2014. Then it was a state and Ladakh was a part of it.
