What’s the appeal?
The Forest Minister appealed to the people of the state to preserve their ancestral land and not sell it. He made it clear that whatever amendments were made in the land law earlier and did not yield the expected results, the government will not step back from making amendments in them as per the public sentiments. Our government is taking every possible step to protect the rights of the people of the state. The land law of the state is being prepared with this thinking in mind.
Apart from this, those who have violated the rules by purchasing more than 250 square meters of land in a family, their additional land will also be vested in the state government.
