Raipur News: Before the Chhattisgarh Assembly Election, government employees have increased the difficulties of the Congress government of the state. Many organizations of the employees together have chalked out a strategy for a big movement under the banner of the Chhattisgarh Employees Officer Joint Front. The employees have warned of a phased agitation demanding the government to give house rent allowance (HRA) on the seventh pay, dearness allowance at par with central employees.
In fact, the prominent people of Chhattisgarh Staff Officer Federation, Chhattisgarh Staff Officer Federation, Chhattisgarh Mantralaya Employees Union, Teachers Organization/Association and other staff organizations of the state have held a big meeting together. In this meeting, in the coming time, all the employees of the organization are planning to go on strike together. This can affect the departmental work of the government. The effect of this will be seen on the coming 7th of July because the employees will protest state-wide by taking leave from duty and protesting. After this, if the demands of the employees are not fulfilled by the government, then this movement can be extended indefinitely.
Employees at the state level will stop work on July 7
A one-day bandh has been announced on July 7 in this movement to be Chhattisgarh Employees Officer United Front, after which the employees have announced to go on an indefinite strike from August 1. Federation convenor Kamal Verma issued a statement saying that government employees across the state will observe a state-level strike on July 7 for their five-point demands. In this, by taking collective leave in the district, block and tehsil, the employees will put forth their demands by taking out demonstrations and rallies. After this, from August 1, we will do indefinite agitation.

Employees of United Front told that house rent allowance on seventh salary, dearness allowance to central employees and pensioners, making public the report of Pingua Committee, regularization of irregular/daily wage earners/other employees including four-tier pay scales as per public manifesto, state Teachers will protest on issues like calculation of qualifying service of other cadres from the date of first appointment for pension eligibility/fixation in the old pension scheme implemented in . If the government does not accept the demands, then the state will go on an indefinite strike from August 1.
