Rajasthan Weather Forecast: Heavy rains are continuing in Rajasthan due to Biparjoy storm. The Jaipur Center of the Meteorological Department has issued Orange Alert for many districts and Yellow Alert for some districts on Tuesday. During this, there will be light to moderate rain in these districts and strong winds are expected. Due to Biparjoy cyclone, 456 mm i.e. 18 inches of rain was recorded in Jalore in 36 hours.

According to the warning issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the surrounding areas of Bhilwara and Chittorgarh districts. There is also a possibility of lightning here. During this, winds can also blow at a speed of 30-50 kmph in these areas. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for these areas. The department has advised people to avoid standing near power lines and trees during rains. He has appealed to the people to take shelter in a safe place and remove the electric plugs in the houses.

According to the Meteorological Department, thunder and lightning occurred at some places in Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli, Tonk, Dhaulpur, Sawai Madhopur, Bundi, Kota, Baran, Jhalawar, Dausa, Pratapgarh, Udaipur, Sirohi, Dungarpur, Banswara, Jaipur districts. There is a possibility of light rain with it. Strong winds can blow at a speed of 30-40 kmph in these districts during this period.
Where did it rain the most in Rajasthan?
Jalore received the maximum rainfall due to the Biparjoy cyclone. Here, 456 mm i.e. 18 inches of rain was recorded between 8.30 am on June 17 and 8.30 pm on June 18. Similarly, 471 mm of rain was recorded in Ahore (Jalore), Bhinmal 217, Ranivada 322, Chitalwana 338, Sanchore 296, Jaswantpura 332, Bagoda 310 and Sayla 411 mm.
