Raigarh News: Once again, due to maintenance, the operation of trains on some routes of Raigarh in Chhattisgarh is going to be affected. Modernization work will be done in Naila yard from 2nd to 5th July. In such a situation, the MEMU local running between Raigarh-Bilaspur is being cancelled. Similarly, MEMU local running from Korba will also remain cancelled. During this time, the passengers of local train will have to struggle to go from Raigarh to Bilaspur. Since this train does up-down throughout the day, passengers traveling on this route may have to face a lot of problems.

Modernization work of nail guard will be done between Bilaspur-Champa section of Bilaspur Railway Division of South East Central Railway. During this development work, the operation of some passenger trains will be affected. For the development of infrastructure by the railway administration, the work of modernization of Naila yard will be done between Bilaspur-Champa section of Bilaspur Railway Division of South East Central Railway, this includes the work of non-interlocking. This work will be done from 2 to 5 July. As soon as this work is completed, the punctuality and speed of all the trains will increase.

Train number 08738/08737 Bilaspur-Raigarh-Bilaspur MEMU passenger special leaving from Bilaspur and Raigarh on this route from July 2 to 5 will remain cancelled. Train number 08734/08733 Bilaspur-Gevrarod-Bilaspur MEMU Passenger Special leaving from 2nd to 5th July will remain cancelled.

Passengers of small station upset due to train cancellation

Cancellation of MEMU local may add to passenger woes at smaller stations as no other trains stop at stations like Kirori Malnagar, Bhupdevpur, Robertson, Jharadih. Only Bilaspur-Raigarh MEMU, Jharsuguda-Godiyan and Tata-Bilaspur passenger have stoppage here. In such a situation, passengers will have to struggle to go from Raigarh to Bilaspur. To go to Bilaspur, JD will be available from Raigarh at around 9 am and to come from Bilaspur only Titlagarh passenger will run in the morning. Passengers of this route will have to travel by these two trains only.
