Maharashtra News: Mumbai Police has removed additional vehicles from the security convoy of former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, his wife Rashmi and son Aditya Thackeray. An official provided this information on Wednesday. A Shiv Sena (UBT) official claimed that the number of security personnel outside the Thackeray family’s residence ‘Matoshree’ in suburban Bandra has also been reduced, but the police said that the level of security for any individual is low. has not been done.
A police official said that one additional vehicle each was provided for the security convoy of former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, his wife Rashmi and son and former minister Aditya Thackeray. He told that these additional vehicles have been removed. However, he has not given any reason for doing so. Uddhav Thackeray has ‘Z Plus’ category security while his son Aditya Thackeray has ‘Y Plus’ category security. The police made it clear in a statement that the security of any protected person living in the area under the Mumbai Police has neither been withdrawn nor has its level been reduced.
Pilot car removed from Uddhav Thackeray’s convoy
On the other hand, Shiv Sena UBT says that security has been reduced due to political motivation. Z plus security of Uddhav Thackeray has been retained but additional police force and pilot car have been withdrawn. It is being told that when Uddhav became the CM, additional vehicles and security personnel were added to his convoy. Explain that Z plus security consists of a bullet proof car, a police inspector, two assistant police inspectors, two police sub-inspectors, two escort vehicles, each of which carries six constables.
