Shravasti: Brutal murder of District Vice President of BJP Yuva Morcha, police engaged in investigation

Shravasti Murder: Last night in Shravasti, the District Vice President of BJP’s Yuva Morcha was attacked and killed. This attack took place when he was going back home after attending a Manglik program. Meanwhile, on the way, some people attacked District Vice President Mata Prasad Gupta with a sharp weapon, due to which he was badly injured. In a hurry, he was taken to the district hospital, where he was referred to Lucknow Trauma Center in view of his critical condition. But he died a painful death on the way.

The incident is of Jotwa village of Semri Chak Pihani under Kotwali Bhinaga police station of Shravasti district. Where the District Vice President of BJP’s Yuva Morcha Mata Prasad Gupta alias Kariya Kotdar had gone to participate in a Manglik program. When he was returning home after the program, some armed men attacked him. He attacked with a sharp weapon, due to which he was badly injured. Hearing the sound of shouting, the people around gathered there. Meanwhile, the miscreants fled leaving them in an inebriated condition.

When people saw the blood-soaked district vice-president, he was rushed to the district hospital in a hurry, where the doctors, seeing his critical condition, referred him to the Medical College, Lucknow, but he died on the way to Lucknow. There has been uproar in the house after the death of the BJP leader, while a lot of anger is being seen among the BJP workers. Who were the attackers and why did they carry out this attack, not much information has yet been revealed in this regard.

Giving information on this incident, SP Prachi Singh said that this matter has come to his notice. A case has been registered under various sections. The police is investigating this deadly attack. Efforts are being made to nab the accused.
