UPPSC Protest: The students’ movement outside the UP Public Service Commission has now completely ended. The students who were sitting on dharna in front of the Commission gate today have also got up and left. The road outside the Commission’s office is now completely empty. There is not a single protestor there now. The group of students which had decided to continue the agitation for the fifth day today has also called off the protest.
A little while ago all the protesters had moved away from outside the office of UP Public Service Commission. Most of the students had announced to end the agitation today itself. The students ended their agitation only after the new exam date of UP-PCS was announced during the day. However, 100 students were standing outside the Commission’s office and were not ready to move.
what was the demand
The students who were left there said that like PCS, they will not end their agitation until the announcement is made that RO and ARO exams will be conducted in one shift on one day like before. The students who continued the movement were continuously expressing their protest by beating bottles and drums and raising slogans.
These students have also now agreed with the decision of most of the students to end the movement. After which the students’ movement which was going on in Prayagraj for the last 5 days has now completely ended. There is complete silence on the road outside the Commission’s office. Now traffic has started moving on it like before.
CM Yogi’s visit tomorrow
The police administration heaved a sigh of relief after the students’ agitation ended completely. The police officer had talked to the agitating students several times during the day and counseled them. It is noteworthy that CM Yogi Adityanath has to reach Prayagraj on Saturday.
CM Yogi Adityanath Ending the major agitation of rival students before reaching Prayagraj is being seen as a big victory for the government. The students are expressing gratitude to CM Yogi for getting most of their demands fulfilled. The protesting students have also thanked the police administration for not using force and exercising restraint during the movement.
