Delhi News: Delhi Women’s Commission Chairperson Swati Maliwal has attacked the Central Government and Delhi Police in the murder of student Nikhil Chauhan at the gate of Aryabhatta College of Delhi University South Campus. Swati Maliwal said that law and order in Delhi has completely broken down. Women are not safe in Delhi. Apart from this, now common people have also started feeling insecure. He said that the way this whole incident has happened, there is a need to fix the responsibility of the Delhi Police and increase the resources of the police. They say that criminal incidents are happening in Delhi every day. Despite this, the Central Government and the Delhi Police are not working together with the AAP government, which is quite shameful.

Let us tell you that a sensational case of murder of a student of the country’s capital Delhi by stabbing him in broad daylight has come to the fore. In this case, the accused killed Nikhil Chauhan, a student of the School of Open Learning, Aryabhatta College, South Campus, Delhi University, on June 18 when he came out of the college after class. In this case, the police have arrested two accused, who have been identified as Rahul of Bindapur and Haroon of Chanakya Place. The age of both the accused is 19 years. The accused first quarreled with Nikhil and then attacked his chest with a knife. Nikhil was taken to the hospital in an injured state, where the doctors declared him brought dead.

Nikhil had a fight with the accused

It is being told that a week ago, a student of the School of Open Learning at Aryabhatta College had misbehaved with Nikhil’s female friend. Due to which he had a fight with Nikhil, to take revenge, the accused along with his associates started waiting for Nikhil to come out of the college gate at around 12.30 pm on Sunday. As soon as Nikhil came out of the college gate, the accused first started a fight with him and stabbed him in the chest.

Nikhil’s condition worsened after being stabbed in the chest. He was taken to the hospital in a seriously injured condition. Where doctors declared Nikhil dead. After this whole incident, the matter was informed to the police. The police immediately reached the spot and registered a case of murder in connection with the incident.

Confirming the incident, DCP South West Manoj C said that the police had received information from the hospital through the MLC. In this case, after investigation by the police, the police arrested two accused. While its accomplices have been identified and soon they have also been caught.
