Himachal Pradesh News: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has set a target of making the state self-reliant by the year 2027 and the number one state in the country by the year 2032. The Chief Minister is seen mentioning this goal from different forums. Now Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has raised questions on these big claims of the Chief Minister.

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has alleged that the Chief Minister is moving forward with the help of a new lie every day. The Chief Minister is unable to do whatever he says.

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the economic situation of Himachal Pradesh is in front of everyone. Without the cooperation of the Central Government, the State Government cannot even pay salaries and pensions. Even in such a situation, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is saying that by the year 2027, Himachal Pradesh will become a self-reliant state. The Chief Minister should tell how he will achieve this target.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the government led by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is taking more loans than its capacity every month and the state government is continuously moving forward on this model of taking loans. Jairam Thakur said that every month the government takes a loan of one thousand crore rupees. This has become the routine of the government.

Sukhu government has ‘impose tax on the public’ model – Jairam
Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jairam Thakur said that the pattern followed by the Congress government today is the model of ‘impose tax on the public’. This model is neither in public interest nor practical in any way. The Chief Minister should stop the work of imposing taxes on the people of the state. Jairam Thakur said that the Chief Minister should desist from providing benefits to his friends.

Jairam Thakur said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu should start taking big and tough decisions from his own government, which he is continuously talking about.
