These days, it is extremely cold in the entire Uttar Pradesh including Jhansi, and now this cold is proving fatal. An elderly farmer, who was guarding his fields amidst the havoc of winter, died due to cold. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the village after the incident, while the family is in bad condition, crying. Actually, the matter is of village Dhaypura of Lahchura police station area, where 70-year-old Puranlal lived in a hut on his farm and was guarding the crops. Late last night, while driving away animals in the fields, his health suddenly deteriorated and he fell down. When the family reached the farm in the morning, Puranlal was found dead.
Police sent the body to PM
Family members say that the old man died due to extreme cold. As soon as information about the incident was received, Lahchura police station reached the spot and took possession of the body and started the post-mortem process. On receiving information about the matter, the tehsil revenue team also reached the spot and investigation into the entire incident has been started.
Cause of death will be known after PM report
In this regard, Tehsildar Lalit Pandey said that information about the death of an elderly person has been received. Revenue team has been sent to the spot. However, preliminary information has also revealed that the deceased was already ill. The actual cause of death will be revealed only after the post mortem report comes.
At present, the increasing cold in Jhansi is becoming a threat to the people, and this incident is also a warning to the administration that the arrangements for protection from cold should be strengthened for the people and farmers living in the open. There is also an appeal to the people to take the help of warm clothes and bonfire to protect themselves from cold.
