Ayodhya News: The work on the ground floor of the three-storey Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh is in its final stage. The work on supporting structures is going on in full swing to complete it by October this year. The temple officials gave this information on Monday. According to a statement, ‘‘the progress of the construction work on the ground floor of the Ram temple was recently reviewed by senior members of the trust, including construction committee chairman Nripendra Mishra.’’
It states that ‘Larsen & Toubro’ and ‘Tata Consulting Engineers’ The engineering teams of DDA and representatives of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust took part in the review of the construction work. The statement said, ‘‘The work of construction of the ground floor of Shri Ram Mandir, Ayodhya, has entered the final stage. The infrastructure creation work is in full swing to complete this work by October, 2023.’’

It states that the progress of the construction work is monitored on a daily basis by senior officials and genuine issues are resolved. Apart from the sanctum sanctorum, the temple has five mandapas – Gud mandapas, Ranga mandapas, Nritya mandapas, Prarthana mandapas and Kirtan mandapas. The statement said, ‘‘The size of the dome of the five mandapas is 34 feet wide and 32 feet tall and the height from the courtyard ranges from 69 feet to 111 feet.’’
It has been said that the length of the temple is 380 feet, width 250 feet and it is 161 feet high from the courtyard. Significantly, on behalf of Ram Mandir Trust, PM Narendra Modi.
