UP by-election: Mayawati’s first reaction on the slogans of CM Yogi and Akhilesh Yadav

UP ByElections 2024: Amidst the by-elections being held on 9 seats in UP, BSP Chief Mayawati has reacted to the slogans of BJP and Samajwadi Party. CM Yogi Adityanath Recently had given ‘Batenge to Katenge’. In response to which Samajwadi Party had given the slogan of ‘If you join, you will win’. But now Mayawati has hit back at both these parties.

BSP chief Mayawati said, “Ever since the by-elections for nine seats in Uttar Pradesh were announced, the BJP and SP alliance is losing sleep. BSP is contesting alone on these seats. BSP has won most of the by-elections here for a long time. Have not contested the elections. In order to divide the public’s attention, BJP people are busy propagating slogans like ‘If we join, we will win’. In reality, it should be ‘If we join BSP, we will move forward.’ And will remain safe in future too.”

What did BSP Chief say?
Mayawati said that compared to the BSP government and the government of BJP and SP, the people of BSP have had the best governance. The public should not fall prey to the poster. Under the guise of giving the slogan of BJP if you divide, you will be cut and SP will join, they want to take advantage of the by-election seats by misleading the public.

He said that voters should be cautious of these slogans. During the SP rule, only the goon mafia has been running the government. It seems that SP is using its goons to win the by-elections. BSP supremo said that BSP is contesting assembly elections in Jharkhand and Maharashtra. In the earlier elections, the alliance of BJP and Congress did not fulfill some of the claims made in their election manifesto. Both are pieces of the same plate.
