Facebook automatic friend requests bug: If you are using Facebook then you must have seen a problem recently, some people may have received friend request from your account but you did not send it. In the last few days, this problem was seen in Facebook’s platform. Friend requests were automatically going to unknown people, although now this problem has been fixed by the company.
Meta has fixed a bug in Facebook that used to automatically send friend requests when users visited a profile. According to The Daily Beast, the company apologized for the glitch after several users complained about the massive privacy breach on the social media.

A Meta spokesperson said, “We fixed a bug related to a recent app update that caused some Facebook friend requests to be sent in error. We have stopped this from happening and we apologize for any inconvenience.
According to a user, Facebook sent a friend request to a person he was trying to block. Many Facebook users said that they have deactivated their accounts.
Meanwhile, Meta says it has detected malware creators who are taking advantage of public interest in ChatGPT and using this interest to entice users to download harmful applications and browser extensions .
