Google vs OpenAI: Google has made its AI chatbot Bard available in more than 180 countries. The tech giant has added several features to its AI to enhance the user experience. This development has happened at a time when OpenAI’s ChatGPT was making a name for itself in the world. On May 10, at the developers’ conference, Google opened Bard to the world. Now you can access it. However, Google is also showing a disclaimer that Bard is in its developing phase. But, we now have access to both Bard and ChatGPT, so a comparison is warranted.
Bard and the Internet
ChatGPT does not come with Internet access by default. You may have to do separate web-browsing to do some searching. In contrast, Google Bard comes with internet access which makes it better than OpenAI. Bard can give you the major news of that time and can also take information from the internet. On the other hand, ChatGPT only shows data till 2021.
image support
ChatGPT only responds in text form. However, Google Bard can also use images along with text in its answers. Not only this, you can also ask him questions related to the image.
Many plugins will be available in Bard
Google has announced that Bard will have a series of plugins for Google apps like Walmart, Spotify, Uber Eats, Adobe Firefly and many more. This series will be free. On the other hand, the plugins on ChatGPT are only available to those who have a ChatGPT Plus membership.

Idea will come from the image
This is perhaps the most extraordinary feature of the Bard. For example, a user can click on a photo of an art material and ask Bard what can he create? The chatbot will share the idea instantly. However, this feature has not been tested yet.
coding
When it comes to programming, Bard outdoes ChatGPT with support for over 20 programming languages. Languages include C++, Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, etc. According to Google, the bard will help with code generation, explanation and debugging.
