Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra first impression: Ultra feel intact, privacy display killed

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra First Impressions: Every year there is a feature which catches everyone’s attention. More megapixels, more zoom or more AI features, but this time none of these are much discussed in Galaxy S26 Ultra. Nor are many people talking about its chipset or camera. This time there is a lot of discussion going on privacy display of. This is not a privacy screen guard that you will regret after installing.

Changes have taken place at the hardware level

Nowadays, there are many such privacy screen protectors available in the market, which darken the screen. Due to this, the brightness also gets spoiled and even the expensive phone looks like an old phone. This time Samsung has integrated the in-built privacy display at the hardware level. As you know, the display is made of thousands of mini LEDs, which emit light. In a normal display, this LED throws light in a wide angle, due to which you as well as the people sitting around you are able to see the screen. Samsung has made changes at this level and has programmed the LEDs in such a way that the viewing angle has become narrower. Its advantage is that apart from the user, people sitting around him will not be able to see the screen.

All it takes is one tap

Privacy display can be enabled with a toggle. As soon as it is enabled, the screen will become completely dark for the people sitting around you, but for the primary user, it will have the same brightness, color accuracy and sharpness as before. One advantage of this is that your entire screen will remain visible, but this feature will protect the privacy of sensitive notifications and apps. Understand it in such a way that the screen is completely visible to the people standing around you, but as soon as any message or alert comes, it will be visible only to you and will not be visible to other people. Other companies are also trying to copy this amazing feature.

Not much change in design

Samsung has not made much changes in terms of design. S26 Ultra will also have ultra feel like sharp, flat edges and premium finishing. This phone feels quite solid and expensive when held in the hand. Its thickness is 7.9mm. It is slightly thinner and lighter than the previous generation. Its display is immersive, which is a good option for binge watching, multitasking and productivity. If you have to do work like note taking or doodling, then the experience of S Pen will double the fun. Talking about the processor, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is sure to provide excellent performance and will get AI features for everything from photo editing to productivity.

How are the camera and battery?

The identity of the Galaxy Ultra model has also been its powerful camera setup and the S26 Ultra is also carrying it on. It will have a 200MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide sensor, 50MP periscope and 10MP telephoto camera, which will compete with the flagship devices of Apple and Google. This makes the photo sharp and detailed. Talking about battery life, the 5,000mAh battery pack is enough for one day use.

How was the first impression?

After using the Galaxy S26 Ultra for some time, one realizes that the privacy display is not just for show, nor is it an exaggerated screen protector. This is an important feature, which protects our banking apps and personal conversations. This is a powerful, polished and premium phone feel.
