Raghuram’s luck shone with ‘Roadies’, one such rejection made him a popular star

Famous TV star Raghuram saw a lot of struggle in his life. Today, even though people know him for his strict style and reality shows, very few people know that he once dreamed of becoming a singer. This dream could not be fulfilled, but the same failure showed him a different path, which made him a household name.

Raghuram’s life

Raghuram was born on 15 April 1973 in Delhi. His childhood was spent in an ordinary family and his twin brother Rajiv Laxman also grew up with him. There was always a deep friendship between the two brothers and this was reflected in their careers later on. After completing his studies, Raghu decided to enter the world of media and entertainment.

Got recognition from this show

At the beginning of his career, Raghu Ram did many small and big jobs, but he got real recognition when he gave it a new look by joining the reality show ‘MTV Roadies’. The audience liked his angry and strict style very much in this show. He made the show a platform for the youth, where they could show their real thinking and personality. This is the reason why this show remained popular for a long time.

But there is an interesting story hidden behind this success. Raghu Ram had once dreamed of becoming a singer and for this he had also given an audition in the first season of ‘Indian Idol’. At that time, the judges of the show did not like his song and he was thrown out from there. Later Raghu himself told that during that time his behavior was a bit different and funny, which the judges took seriously. This incident was a big shock for him, but he did not let it become his weakness.

After this failure, Raghuram changed the direction of his career and started working hard in the world of TV production. He gradually made his mark and then achieved huge success through shows like ‘Roadies’. He also worked in shows like ‘MTV Splitsvilla’.
