Rupali Ganguly Controversy: Rupali Ganguly is a famous TV star. He got fame from the show Anupama. In this serial, she played the role of a helpless mother and wife, whose children did not respect her and her husband was having an extra marital affair. However, gradually the story progressed and Anupama became an independent woman.

The amount of praise Rupali has received from the show in the last few years. Equally, she remained in controversies in 2024 due to her personal life. Rupali was accused of extra marital affair. These allegations were made by his step daughter Isha Verma.

Let us tell you that Rupali is married to Ashwin K Verma. Ashwin has a second marriage with Rupali. Before this he was married to Sapna. He has two daughters from this marriage. One daughter Isha Verma had accused Rupali and Ashwin of extra marital affair. Isha says that Rupali ruined her family.

Isha had made these allegations
Actually, Isha had posted this a few years ago. But in 2024 his post went viral. In this post, Isha claimed – ‘Does anyone know the true story of Rupali Ganguly? She had an affair with Ashwin Verma for 12 years even though Ashwin was married at that time. Rupali is a hard hearted woman. They took me and my sister away from our father. He is very controlling. Whenever I try to call my father she starts screaming. My mother and I also received threats.

Isha said that Rupali used to come to her house and sleep on her parents’ bed. Isha had accused Rupali of being abusive. After the post went viral, Isha came forward and said whatever claim was made regarding that post was true.

Rupali files defamation case of Rs 50 crore
But when the matter escalated, Rupali Ganguly filed a defamation case against Isha. Rupali Ganguly had sent a defamation notice of Rs 50 crore against Esha Verma. Rupali’s lawyer Sana Raees Khan had said that public platforms cannot be used to defame anyone.

Rupali had reacted on this matter some time ago. Rupali said in an interview given to Instant Bollywood- ‘If I say that I am not affected by this, I would be lying. I am impressed. It feels bad if someone speaks even a little evil about us behind our back. You keep doing good. Bad times can come any time.
